Comments: When we 1st arrived we were very pleased with the room and the rate. We had reserved a jacuzzi suite room for our anniversary. A few hours later we had a problem with the toilet. I went to the office to get a plunger to try to fix the problem. The office did not have a plunger. I then followed the front desk lady to several different locations to try to find a plunger. There was no plunger anywhere on the site. We were headed out for dinner, movie and drinks at the Olympic Club, She stated the plunger would be at the office when We returned. We return almost 7 hours later , I go to the office and no plunger. The lady offers a differnet jacuzzi suite, I stated that was fine. I get to the new room which is non-smoking and the jacuzzi tub is half the size as the original room. We had originally reserved a smoking room and were expected to go outside to smoke. I called the front desk and told the woman that the new room was not acceptable. She just kept saying " We are trying our best to accomodate you". She then asks me to call back in 10 minutes so I could discuss the problem with another staff member that was expected shortly. The new lady is a senior citizen that should be retired. I am thinking she must be management, she was not management and gave me the following response "We are trying our best to accomodate you". It was like they were programmed for what to say! We then went and purchased a plunger so we could stay in the original room. After we had purchased the plunger at 11:30pm the front desk informs me that they have finally found a plunger (who knows where it came from...ewwwww) Later that evening we finally go to bed. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood with cardboard cushion !! We both woke up with our backs so sore we could barely move. When we 1st checked in the front desk ladY informed us of this really great breakfast that they offer for free in the mornings. We get there and it is set up for the guests to cook their own waffles. WE COULD HAVE DONE THAT AT HOME !! We check out and when we get home I call the main office for this location in Lacey and explained my disgust with the Centralia motel. The Lacey lady called Centralia and forced them to refund 1/2 of the room rate for this disaster night. The partial refund made me a little happier about the whole thing but I will probably never go their again in my lifetime ! I GIVE THIS MOTEL A RATING OF D- !!!
